Aaron Lowry

Aaron Robert Lowry, 29, died on Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Aaron was born May 19, 1989, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. He moved to Las Vegas in 1996 and graduated from Las Vegas High School in 2007.  Aaron enlisted in the United States Navy in 2008 and served as a HM3 – Hospital Corpsman, Petty Officer Third Class for five years. After his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy, he pursued studies in Para-Medicine/Firefighting at the College of Southern Nevada.  Aaron was recently hired by the VA Medical Hospital in Las Vegas as an Intermediate Care Technician and was scheduled to begin his new job on May 29, 2018.

He is survived by his parents, M. Kirsten Jacobson and Mark Lowry of North Las Vegas; a brother, Jacob Lowry of Las Vegas, and a sister, Hannah Lowry of North Las Vegas; maternal grandmother, Marlys Jacobson of Frazee, MN; paternal grandmother, Dolores Lowry of Oak Ridge, TN. Aaron is also survived by four uncles, James Jacobson, John-Paul Jacobson, Joel Jacobson and Andrew Jacobson; two aunts, Lisa Lowry Moeller and Kristie Lowry DeSelms; and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth P. Jacobson; his paternal grandfather, Frederick M. Lowry; and Matthew Lowry, his uncle.
