Anne Marie Suchon of Menahga, MN, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Essentia Health St. Mary's in Detroit Lakes, MN.
A funeral service for Anne will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Furey Funeral Home, Frazee, MN with Pastor Scott Warne officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18th from 4-8 p.m. at Furey Funeral Home in Frazee, MN. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Anne was born in Manhattan, NY but resided most of her life in New Jersey before moving to Frazee in 1997. In 1944, Anne married John Suchon of South River, NJ. For many years she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. Anne was a lifelong member of VFW Post 7508 in Old Bridge, NJ and was the last surviving Charter Member of the Auxiliary.
Anne was an avid reader. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, Scrabble, Nascar and an occasional trip to the Casino. She simply loved life in general.
Anne's beloved husband passed away in 1987.
She is survived by three children: John Suchon, Jeanne (Roger) Boyce and Robert (Cindi) Suchon; six grandchildren: Rachel Bishop, Clint Boyce, Laura and Eric Suchon and Jesse and Ben Suchon; five great-grandchildren: Summer, Brayden, Emmi, Jozie and Caleb; one sister Kay Baxter and one nephew Richard Harris.
