Arlice Verna Wirth, age 101 of Frazee, MN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the Frazee Care Center.

Arlice was born October 12, 1924, in Hobart Township near Wymer Lake, to John and Bertha (Urback) Franklin. She attended School District 227 through the 8th grade. Following her schooling, Arlice dedicated much of her life to farming alongside her husband, milking cows in Silver Leaf Township until her move into Frazee Senior Villa. She was also a life-long member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Frazee, where her faith remained a cornerstone of her life.

She had a deep love for community and fellowship. Her greatest joys included square dancing, playing cards, snowmobiling, and 4-wheeling, activities that reflected her enthusiasm for life and her love for the people around her.

Arlice married Ed Wirth on July 23, 1942 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Together they made their home in Silver Leaf Township, where they raised their three sons, Terrance, Kelly, and Randy.

Arlice is survived by her sons, Kelly (Julie) Wirth and Randy (Amy) Wirth; grandchildren, Sherry (Jeff) Seegart, Jewley Wirth, Kris (Adrian) Wirth, Dustin (Kristin) Wirth, Kelsey (Erik) Hoff, Caitlin (Brady) Breitenfeldt, and Brittany Wirth; great-grandchildren, Cory, Cassie, Brady, Harley, Hailey, Kali, McKenna, Nevaeh, Grayson, Finley, Ryder, Kinsey, Haden, Presley, Jade, Jenna, Kennedy, Kora, Kolby, Annabelle, and Stetson; and great-great-grandchildren, Cayden, Walter, River, and Hunter. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will continue to hold her memory dear.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Bertha Franklin; infant brother, Melvin; husband, Ed: son, Terrance; and daughter-in-law, Judy.

Following Arlice’s wishes, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Frazee.
