Carol J. Jepson, 68, resident of Blaine, MN, formerly of Frazee, died Friday, August 29 in Blaine and under care of Hospice.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 4 at 11AM in Furey Funeral Home, Frazee. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 3 from 5PM-7PM in Furey Funeral Home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Thursday. Interment will be made in Pickett Cemetery, rural Frazee. Following the service on Thursday, lunch will be served at the Frazee Event Center, Frazee.

Carol Jean Jepson was born December 22, 1945 in Evergreen Township to George and Evelyn (Nolette) Jepson. She attended school in Frazee and graduated high school in Roseburg, OR. After school she was united in marriage to Bill Coleman. In 1975 Carol moved back to Frazee and was employed at the Detroit Lakes Police Department along with various other jobs. In 1982 she moved to Coon Rapids and for 15 years worked for Dave's Floor Sanding Company. After retirement, Carol moved home to Frazee to care for her Dad. After George passed away, she lived in Detroit Lakes for a couple of years until her health started to decline, she moved to Blaine to be closer to her sister.

Carol loved being outdoors. She always had a "green thumb" when it came to gardening. She was extremely fond of horses, and cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren throughout the years.

Carol is survived by her children: Sheri Coleman of Duluth, MN, Kelly Coleman of Clearwater, MN, Ronald Coleman of Moorhead, MN and David Coleman of Coon Rapids, MN. In addition she is survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one sister: Doreen (David) Mohs of Blaine, MN and one brother: Terry Jepson of Frazee.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson: Devin and two brothers: Mark Jepson and Roy Jepson.
