Christine Illg, 57, of Valley City, ND, died Monday, November 3, 2014 at Sheyenne Care Center, Valley City. A memorial service for Christine will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Furey Funeral Home in Frazee with Pastor Ryan Stockstrom officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will take place in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in the Spring of 2015.
Christine Illg was born March 28, 1957, in Perham, MN, the daughter of LuVerne and Barbara (Poppler) Illg of Frazee, MN.
Christine is survived by her daughter, Tela Pihlaja; grandson, Woody Pihlaja; mother, Barbara Poppler, Frazee, MN; brothers, Mike (Becky) Illg, Frazee, MN, Jeffrey Illg, Detroit Lakes, MN, Danny, Coon Rapids, MN; sister, Cynthia Keen, West Fargo, ND.
She was preceded in death by her father, LuVerne Illg; grandparents, Clara & George Poppler and Robert & Leona Illg; and nephews, Ricky Illg and Joseph Boit.
