Dorothy Adaline Martha Schultz, age 95, of Frazee, MN, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Frazee Care Center Assisted Living, surrounded by her family.

Funeral services for Dorothy will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Frazee. Interment will be made at Lakeside Cemetery, Frazee, MN. Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m., Friday, November 28, 2014 with a prayer service to take place at 4. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Dorothy was born January 20, 1919, to Frank and Martha (Riebe) Schulz at Dummer Saskatchewan, Canada. She was baptized at Dummer Sask, Canada on February 10, 1919. At 3 months of age, the family moved to Gorman Township, Becker Co., Minnesota where she was raised and attended school. She was confirmed at the age of 18 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Evergreen, MN.

Dorothy was united in marriage to Martin Schultz on September 2, 1937 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Evergreen, MN. They had 3 daughters: Marie, Victoria and Valerie. The couple farmed until 1974 when they sold their farm and moved to town. Dorothy worked hard on the farm and especially loved her cows. She was an excellent cook and baker and family and friends could count on her homemade hot cocoa, cookies, hotdish, apple dumplings or other goodies. She was a beautiful seamstress sewing wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, doll clothes, Dad's suits, stuffed animals and embroidery. Dorothy was very active at church, helping in the kitchen, sewing quilts, and assisting with release time. Dorothy then became the janitor at the bank which she did for 15 years. She loved her family very much and they will all miss her saying "I love you more."

Dorothy is survived by 2 daughters: Marie (Harvey) Fisher, and Valerie Shaw; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren along with a son-in-law, Paul Lainen of Canada.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Martin in 2003; daughter, Victoria Lainen; grandson, Darrell Fisher; great granddaughter, Stephie Ann Parks; brother, Leonard Schulz and son-in-law, Glen Shaw.
