Ella Konarick
August 19, 1924 — July 6, 2016
Ella Augusta Konarick was born August 19, 1924, in Silver Leaf Township, MN, to Gustav and Anna (Litzau) Kruger. She attended District #85 country school through the eighth grage. Ella was confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Height of Land, MN.
On April 27, 1948, Ella was united in marriage to John Konarick. The couple operated a dairy farm north of Perham where they raised 2 children: Mary and Benny. Ella enjoyed caring for her family and loved to garden, can and bake. Ella’s life was saddened by the passing of her husband in 1982. Ella became a resident of the Frazee Care Center in 2010 where she resided until her passing.
She is survived by daughter, Mary (Bill) Baker of Detroit Lakes, MN; son, Benny (Sherri) Konarick of Perham, MN; 1 grandson, Michael Konarick of Perham, MN; and sister-in-law, Frances Kruger.
Preceding Ella in death were her parents; husband; and 4 sisters: Grace (Graydon) Engle, Martha (Leonard) Schutlz, Stella (Gib) Bachmann, and Mabel (Ralph) Urbach; along with 4 brothers: Julius, Ervin, Alvin, and Clarence Kruger.
