Eveline Buehler, 93, Vergas, died, December 1, 2011, at the Frazee Care Center.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Vergas, MN. Interment will be made in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Lunch will be hosted following the service for all to attend. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2011, at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Vergas with a prayer service to take place at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Eveline was born April 30, 1918, in Dora Township, Otter Tail County, MN, to Fred and Elizabeth (Wyman) Moltzan. She was baptized at her home on May 20, 1918, and confirmed on September 11, 1932, at the Evangelical Church in Perham, MN. She attended school at District 76.

On October 10, 1939, she married Clarence Buehler in Perham, MN. They had a dairy farm in Edna Township, Otter Tail County, MN, for many years.

Eveline was active in all church activities including: teaching Sunday school, LWML, and quilting; which she helped start with the ladies aid. Her hobbies included: dancing during her younger years, gardening, sewing, fishing and playing cards.

Eveline is survived by one son, Alvin and special friend, Kathy Wouters of Vergas; one sister, Sally (Salme) Schmidt of Perham, MN, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; three sisters: Lydia Klatt, Augusta Walde and Minnie Walde; one brother, William H. Moltzan; one half brother, Ed Moltzan and one half sister, Elsie Novak.
