Gregory William Eiler, age 55, of Leonard, ND was called home on April 15, 2016 in Fargo, ND.
Greg was born in Olivia, MN on February 21, 1961 to Elsie and Sylvester (Bud) Eiler.
Greg lived in Bird Island, MN until June of 1975. He moved with his family to Menahga, MN. He graduated from Menahga High School in 1979, went on to get his Bachelors of Business Administration from Bemidji State University in 1983 and spent most of his life as a flooring salesman. He loved to camp, fish and spend time with friends. He married Colleen Pulju on February 14, 1994. He raised their beautiful daughter Morgan, who he lived for, and was very proud of, first in the Twin Cities and then moved them out by Kindred, ND.
Greg was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen; his parents, Elsie Eiler and Sylvester Eiler; brother, Kenny Eiler; and sister, Betty Jo Eiler.
Greg leaves behind his daughter, Morgan Eiler of Fargo, ND; brother and sisters: Jim Eiler (Kathy) of Henderson, NV, Liz Smelter (Mike) of Albertville, MN, Mary Thompson (John) of Vian, OK. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, multiple cousins and his Uncle, Evert Kari and Aunt, Mary Claflin.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, April 22

at 1 PM at the Menahga VFW and burial will follow at the Jim Cook Cemetery in Menahga, Minnesota. He will be sadly missed by many as he was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, as well as an honorable and well admired man throughout his life. Go home……and have peace at last.
