John Albert Miller

John Albert Miller, 65 of Frazee, MN passed away after a short courageous battle with cancer on Monday, October 16, 2023 surrounded by his family at his home.

He was born on June 14, 1958 to Arthur and Eleanor Miller at St. Mary’s Hospital in Detroit Lakes, MN. John graduated from Frazee High School in 1977 and worked multiple jobs throughout his life. Swift and Co. in Frazee and Detroit Lakes, Frazee Bowling Alley, and most recently the Frazee Golf Course for many years until his health forced his retirement.

John never married and lived in the family home where he was raised for most of his life. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, and loved to bird watch.

John is survived by siblings: Elaine Palmer of Vergas, MN, Mary Ann (Wally) Ueke of Frazee, MN, and Robert (Jirilyn) Miller of Warren, MN, sister-in-law, Mary Ann Miller of Frazee, MN, nine nieces and nephews: Joel Love, Wendy Zitzow, Christy Love, Troy Miller, Tanya Miller, Rob Tovsen, Nicole Ueke, Darren Ueke, and Ruby Jane Miller, as well as several great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Eleanor Miller, one brother, Eugene Miller, and brother-in-law, Rodger Palmer.

Visitation: 10AM – 12PM, Friday, October 20, 2023 at Furey Funeral Home, Frazee with the Funeral Service at 12PM. Bars and beverages will be served throughout the visitation.

Burial: Balmi Cemetery, Wolf Lake, MN.
