Kathy Fletcher

Marie Amanda “Kathy” (Miller) Fletcher was born July 13, 1936 in Minneapolis, MN. She passed away Sunday August 5, 2018 at Sanford Hospital- Broadway in Fargo, ND.

She grew up and attended school in Minneapolis. On September 23, 1959 she was united in marriage to Clinton Fletcher in Norwood, IA. To this union two sons were born. They made their home in rural Vergas where Kathy cared for the home and family. She later worked for the Turkey plant in Pelican Rapids for 20 years.

Kathy enjoyed gardening and cooking, and in her later years enjoyed going to the Loons Nest to eat and visit with locals. She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran – Loon Lake Church and a 4-H leader when the boys were young.

She is survived by her sons: Gene Fletcher of Vergas; Marvin and Roxanne Fletcher of Fargo, ND; granddaughter: Hanna Klinefelter.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Fletcher in 2002; and her parents: August and Clara Miller.
