Kenneth Erickson, age 73, of New Boston, TX, and Vergas, MN, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013, at his home in New Boston.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church - Loon Lake, MN. Interment will be made in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery - Loon Lake. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church - Loon Lake with a prayer service to be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Furey Funeral Home, Vergas, MN is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
Kenneth was born July 11, 1939, in Pelican Rapids, MN. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Vergas, MN, employed at Red River Army Depot, retired from the United States Army where he was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Steve Misczenski of Kentucky; 3 grandsons: Steven, Alexander and Peter Misczenski and one granddaughter, Charlotte Misczenski all of Kentucky; 3 sisters: Delores Eckre, Corinne Monson and Bonnie Brown all of MN; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Erickson.
