Lawrence Sirek

Lawrence Jerome Sirek age 88, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 24, 2015, while receiving hospice care at his daughter’s home in Osage, MN.
He was born on July 7, 1927 in Thief River Falls, MN to Louis and Anna Sirek. Lawrence made Crookston his home with his wife Joann and four children. He worked for the University of Minnesota Crookston as a senior herdsmen for 34 years. Lawrence will be missed by all that new him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Joann; sons; Rick (Chris), Tim, Scott (Kim), and daughter Pam (Kelly); Grandchildren; Mike, Nick, Kristina (Alex), Joshua, Jacob, Hannah and Sarah. Great Grandchildren; Noah, Mckenna, Eizabella and Colin; Sister; Carol Lee; Sister in law; Alice Sirek; Sister in law; Mabel Sirek.
Preceded in death by his parents Anna and Louis; brothers; Bob, Ed, Earl and sister; Helen. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, in Frazee, MN. The family will greet family and friends at church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service.
