Lenora Golkowski

Lenora Genevieve Golkowski, age 95, of Detroit Lakes, died on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Essentia- Oak Crossing Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes. A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday February, 15, 2016 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Frazee.  A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.  A burial will be made at Gorman Cemetery in Gorman Township Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11 a.m.

Lenora is survived by her eight children: Carol Wick, JoAnn Vierling of North Field, Larry (Janis) Golkowski, Michael (Christine Kelley) Golkowski, Mary (Gene) Puttbrese, Thomas (Betty Sczygiel) Golkowski, Randy (Tammy) Golkowski of Moorhead, Scott (Mary) Golkowski; a brother-in-law, Arnold Golkowski; a sister-in-law, Marion Bellefeuille; grandchildren, Tammy (Rick) Gordon, Lora Wells, Carmen Wick, David Vierling (Danielle) , Lisa McKee (Chris), Amy Koep (Jason), Michael Kelley, Tanya Willie (Aaron), Jolyn Renney (Den), Jesse Lotzer (Jared), Ryan Puttbrese, Lyndsey Puttbrese, Nicole Golkowski, Andria Golkowski, Carrie Ulschmid (Josh), Craig Golkowski (Steph), Zach Golkowski (Tawni), Avery Golkowski, and Elizabeth Golkowski; great grandchildren: Ricky and Michael Quam, Charles Neeley; Ethan, Hunter, and Austin Koep; Brook Vierling, Marin McKee; Karlie, Jared, and Seth Renney; Kiley Pederson, Logen Lotzer, Madoc Belland; Teigan and Kaydence Golkowski, Aubrey Ulschmid, Greigh Golkowski, and Aubrey Golkowski.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Emil; her parents, Fred and Maude (Truhn) Lueders; a son-in-law Jim Vierling; four brothers and three sisters.
