Marvel, born Lachowitzer, was the nucleus of her family—the steady center that held together the stories, traditions, and cherished memories that defined each of their lives. Marvel’s interests, from Bible Study and shopping to tenderly nurturing her garden and creating treats like jelly, butter, herring, lefse, and cookies, showcased her love for family and celebration.

A proud milestone in her life was the marriage to her beloved husband, Kenneth Beaman, on August 10, 1948. Together they cultivated a life rich in tradition and love. After Kenneth’s passing, the essence of her devotion continued to echo through the lives of her children, Bonita Sonnenberg and Curtis Beaman (Kandy), as well as her grandchildren, including Monica Sonnenberg, Jessica Borg (Casey), Dan Sonnenberg (Angelique), Natasha Munson (Alan), Derick Beaman (Vicki), and her great-grandchildren, Tyson, Wyatt, Katarina, Autumn (David) Danielle, Brock, Sawyer, Oliver, Gage, Ella, Hunter, Beckett, and great-great-granddaughter Evelynn Borg, will carry her legacy forward. Each of them holds a piece of her heart, ensuring that her spirit will continue to thrive in the stories shared, the laughter echoed, and the traditions celebrated for generations to come.

Marvel's departure leaves an indelible void—a world quieter without her voice, and without her colorful threads of love. Her parents, William and Maline Lachowitzer, sister Verna Kratzke and her husband Clarence, son-in-law Denis Sonnenberg, and daughter-in-law Bonnie Beaman welcomed her into eternity, their bonds unbroken even by the veil of death.

As we gather to honor her life at St. Paul's Loon Lake in Vergas, Minnesota, on December 29, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 AM and a funeral service at 11:00 AM, we embrace the moments that brought us joy and solace.
