Paul Hanson

June 5, 1952 — December 22, 2012

Paul J. Hanson, 60, resident of Frazee, MN, died unexpectedly Saturday, December 22 at his residence in Frazee.

A graveside service will be planned in the spring of 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Frazee, MN.

Paul Jeffrey Hanson was born June 5, 1952 in Portland, Oregon to Clifford and Barbara (Epperson) Hanson. He attended grade school in Portland before moving with his family to southern California. He graduated in 1970 from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA. Following high school, Paul worked various jobs throughout California before moving to Frazee in 1976. He started working at the Frazee Care Center in the maintenance department and later went back to school to earn his CNA certificate. In 1985, Paul was united in marriage to Karen Adams in Sacred Hearth Catholic Church of Frazee. Paul was currently employed at the Frazee Care Center and loved working with the staff and residents throughout the years. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting comic books, reading, especially a good science fiction, drawing cartoon characters, watching the Big Bang Theory and Monte Python but most importantly spending time with his family. Paul was a wonderful husband, father and brother. His corky sense of humor and witty comebacks will be missed by everyone.

Paul will be remembered and missed by his wife: Karen of Frazee, son: Adam Hanson of Frazee, two brothers: David (Elaine) Hanson of Detroit Lakes, Patrick Hanson of Buffalo, MN along with three sisters: Rhonda Hanson of Detroit Lakes, Mary Hanson of Frazee and Rosalie (Rollie) Vikesland of Rochester, MN.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and infant son: Aaron (1992)
