Phil Price, age 60, of Vergas, MN, formerly of Moorhead, MN, passed Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND, following an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2013, at Vergas United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday. Family and friends are invited to stay for lunch following the service. Furey Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. Phillip Mark Price was born August 5, 1953, in Minneapolis, MN, the eldest of two sons born to Raymond and Arlene (Jarvis) Price. He attended grade school in Minneapolis, then moved to Fergus Falls, MN, where he completed his high school education at Fergus Falls High School, graduating with the class of 1972. He went on to attend two years of college at Fergus Falls Community College before transferring to Minnesota State University of Moorhead, where he completed his Bachelor's degree.
While attending MSUM, Phil met Linda Rau. The couple was married in 1977. Two daughters were born to the couple: Robin and Roxie. They lived in Moorhead, where Phil was self-employed in sales.
While traveling with this work, Phil met Julie Craft in Minot, ND. The couple lived in Moorhead for a few years, before making their home in Vergas, MN. The couple enjoyed years of traveling together and truly enjoyed their time spent together.
Phil enjoyed track and running, fishing the area lakes with friends, photography; he always had his camera with him, spending time with his grandchildren, and was strong in his faith and enjoyed studying his bible. He was member of Vergas United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his fiancAC.: Julie Craft of Vergas, MN; 2 daughters: Robin (Aaron Anderson) Price of Fargo, ND and Roxie Price of Moorhead, MN; 2 grandchildren: Treyton Price and Lilly Anderson; his brother, Norman Price of Owatonna, MN; and his foster parents, Andy and Donna Husmann of Michigan.
Preceding Phil in death were his parents.
