Ronald "Ron" Adolph Lange, age 60, of Vergas, MN died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Essentia Health, Fargo, North Dakota. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Furey Funeral Home in Frazee, MN. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Furey Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
Ron was born August 24, 1952, to Adolph and Lillian (Houghton) Lange at Perham Memorial Hospital. He was baptized on September 28, 1952, and confirmed on April 3, 1966, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Vergas. Ron grew up on the family farm in Vergas. He attended school in Perham, MN, graduating from Perham High School. He continued farming with the family and resided there until the time of his passing. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at the farm.
Ron is survived by his sister, Diana (Walter) Wallace of Vergas, MN; one nephew Jim (Teresa) Wallace of Vergas, MN; two nieces, Deborah (Bob) Fettig of Barnesville, MN and Nancy (Scott) Benke of Dent, MN; ten great nieces and nephews; three great, great nieces; one uncle Duane (Judy) Houghton of Vergas, MN and one aunt Helen Perszyk of Perham, MN.
Preceding Ron in death are his parents; several aunts and uncles and a great, great nephew Brayden Kamphuis.
