Carmen Wick

Carmen Wick, age 41, of Frazee, MN, passed away unexpectedly May 11, 2020, at her home in Frazee.

Carmen was born March 5, 1979, in Detroit Lakes, MN, to Kenneth and Carol Wick. She was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Evergreen and attended Frazee High School graduating with the class of 1997. She attended Detroit Lakes Vocational College in the accounting program; while working at Best Western as Front Desk hospitality. In 2003, she began working at SJE Rhombus and has been there for the last 18 years.

Carmen enjoyed the outdoors, feeding the birds, reading books on her kindle. Most recently, loved spending time on the family farm going for walks and drives with family and friends and just enjoying the peace and quiet. She was especially fond of her cats: Miss Kitty, Pew, Mama Kitty, Susie and Arwin. She will be greatly missed by many family and friends, along with her beloved cats and Chewie (nephew's dog).

She was known for her crazy sense of humor and willingness to help others and her big smile.

Carmen is survived by her sister, Lora Wells of Detroit Lakes, MN; 3 nephews: Charles Neeley of Detroit Lakes, Ricky Quam and Michael Quam of Montana.

Preceding Carmen in death was her mother, Carol Wick; her sister, Tammy Gordon; maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
