Malik Gill

Malik Lamar Gill, age 24, of Moorhead, MN, died tragically on May 18, 2022, after years of struggling with mental illness and addiction. Malik was born on March 16,1998, to Linda Jean Gill in Milwaukee, WI. Malik moved to Frazee, MN in 2010 and attended school there until he moved to Battle Lake in 2014. Malik graduated from Battle Lake High School in 2016. Malik worked various construction jobs and played basketball in his free time. Recently Malik found a new passion in working area events selling his creations from the food cart. Malik knew love and joy in a new way with the birth of his son, Dominique.

Malik is survived by his infant son, Dominique, his Mother Linda Gill, siblings Desirea Wright, Mark Towns Jr., Marquise Gill, Marzell Payne, grandparents, great grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins, friends, and foster family Ross & Theresa Ukkelberg & family.

Malik is preceded in death by his grandmother, 2 aunties and special cousins Dominique and Kennia.

A Memorial Service will be held for Malik at Furey Funeral Home in Frazee, MN on Thursday, May 26 with visitation from 4-5:30pm and Memorial Service from 5:30-6:30pm.
